CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

 

Fruity and Delicious!

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups lightly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 package (280 g) Chipits semi-sweet chocolate chips/chunks
  • 1 cup toasted chopped almonds (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine butter, brown sugar and eggs; blend well.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are brown around the outside and soft in the middle.
  6. Cool and serve.

Makes about 36 large cookies

THE SECRET:

For soft cookies, bake only until it's barely brown on the edges.

For harder cookies, press down on each ball before baking.
